Health and safety is a major issue in all aspects of construction
from design to final commissioning and subsequent operation
by the user.
BAILEYGOMM have an internal heath and safety department which
keeps abreast of current legislation insuring it is integrated
into all levels of the company. Members of the department
are associated with
IOSH (Institute
of Occupational Safety and Health) and
APS (Association of Project Safety).
BAILEYGOMM's health and safety department carries out the
following services to external organisations:
- CDM-Coordinator (CDMC)
- Act as Health and Safety advisor
- Production of Risk assessments
- Production of Method Statements
- Carry out construction site audits
- Carry out workplace audits
BAILEYGOMM were successful in winning Hertfordshire County
Council's business award for health and safety in 2004.
BAILEYGOMM have been carrying the CDMC (formally Planning
Supervisor) role since the conception of the Construction (Design
and Management) Regulations 1994 and have been involved with
a wide variety of Clients and projects. refer to the

BAILEYGOMM have an active ongoing programme of CPD accredited
seminars which ensures all staff are kept fully informed on
any safety issues and legislation.
BAILEYGOMM have been involved with the Working Well Together
scheme for over five years. As a company we utilise the CSCS
scheme on all of our sites.
